In Loving Memory of

Melissa Kennedy Fuller

A life of faith, strength, and enduring impact

The Heart Behind Hopper Dispatch

Melissa Kennedy Fuller was more than a co-founder of Hopper Dispatch — she was its heart. A devoted mother, daughter, and leader, Melissa carried forward a multigenerational legacy rooted in agriculture, transportation, and unwavering faith. Through seasons of hardship and triumph, she led with grace, grit, and a fierce commitment to rebuilding not only a business but a purpose-driven mission.

In 2009, she returned to the world of agriculture logistics, eventually founding Hopper Dispatch, Inc. in 2011. Alongside her son Josh, Melissa rebuilt what had once been lost, transforming a small operation into a company known across the Southeast for its reliability and care.

Melissa passed away on September 3rd, 2021, after a courageous battle with illness. Her legacy lives on in every load delivered, every prayer spoken, and every mile driven by the team she helped build.

At Hopper Dispatch, we continue her mission not only to serve but to share the message that guided her life: Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
